The Meinl Artisan Edition Tango Line String Cajon brings together Spanish craftsmanship and refined tonal character in a striking light eucalyptus package. Designed by master luthier José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz and handmade in Spain, this cajon features a 7-ply Baltic Birch resonating body paired with a light eucalyptus frontplate that delivers deep, focused bass tones and crisp, responsive snare effects. Two sets of pre-tuned, hand-wound micro-coiled steel strings with fabric strips provide clean articulation across the playing surface without unwanted buzzing. The ergonomically contoured frontplate with rounded corners and thumb notches ensures comfortable, expressive playability during extended sessions, while specially formulated soft rubber feet keep the cajon stable on any surface. The mixed wood grain patterns of the light eucalyptus create a naturally elegant visual presence, finished with heat-branded detailing on the resonating body.
