Meinl Aluminum Darbuka
The Meinl HE-104 is an 8" aluminum darbuka built in the tradition of goblet-shaped drums found across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Southern Asia. Its thin aluminum shell keeps the instrument lightweight while delivering a deep, full bass tone alongside high-pitched snapping sounds and a wide range of articulated "doum" and "tak" strokes. The synthetic head is mounted with a Turkish-style external ring tuning system, giving players precise control over tension and pitch.
