The LR Baggs Anthem is one of the most respected hybrid pickup-and-microphone systems for steel-string acoustic guitar, combining a TRU-MIC condenser microphone positioned inside the soundhole with an under-saddle Element pickup. The TRU-MIC capsule captures the natural, airy, room-like sound of the guitar's top while the Element handles the percussive attack and feedback-resistant fundamentals, and an internal mixer lets the player blend the two signals to taste from the soundhole-mounted control panel.
