NUX Optima Air Dual-Switch Acoustic Guitar Simulator
The NUX Optima Air NAI-5 is a dual-switch acoustic guitar simulator and IR loader that lets players turn a solid-body electric guitar into a credible acoustic voice for live performance. The pedal includes a library of 9 NUX-tuned acoustic guitar IRs (and the ability to load third-party IRs), plus an integrated effects suite with reverb, chorus, and compression specifically voiced for acoustic-style tone shaping. Dual footswitches allow toggling between two preset configurations on the fly — ideal for songs that move between electric and acoustic textures. Stereo XLR/TRS outputs feed directly to a front-of-house desk, while USB-C connectivity enables home recording and IR management.
