The Orange Micro Terror is a hybrid head that pairs a genuine ECC83 valve preamp with a solid-state power section, giving twenty watts of output from a chassis small enough to sit on a desk. The valve stage is what makes it worth attention, bringing warmth and touch sensitivity that most amps this size cannot manage, so rolling back the guitar volume cleans the sound up rather than simply making it quieter. A simple gain, tone and volume layout keeps things direct, while there is enough output to work alongside a drummer through a suitable cabinet.
