Meinl Pickup Woodcraft Cajon, Makah-Burl Frontplate
The Meinl Woodcraft Series Pickup Cajon combines the warm, organic tone of a Makah-Burl frontplate with built-in electronics for seamless amplification. Its Baltic birch body delivers a naturally resonant sound, while three integrated Piezo pickups — two for snare and one for bass — let you send your sound directly to an amp or PA system via a standard quarter-inch output. Onboard volume and tone controls give you quick access to shape your amplified sound on the fly, making it equally at home on stage and in the studio. The rear sound port enhances low-end projection and snare clarity, and custom micro-coiled steel cajon strings provide a responsive, sizzling snare effect. Four silicone feet keep the cajon stable and isolated from the surface beneath it, ensuring clean sound without unwanted vibration transfer.
