The Mackie MR824 is a single 8-inch powered studio monitor designed for the small-to-medium home studio, project room, or content creator who wants serious reference-grade sound at a working-musician price. The 8-inch Kevlar woofer pairs with a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter driven by 65 watts of bi-amplified Class A/B power, delivering a balanced, articulate voice with deep, tight low end and an unusually wide sweet spot for the price. A specially-shaped waveguide tightens the imaging and broadens the high-frequency dispersion, and rear-panel acoustic-space and HF/LF controls let the monitor be dialed in to fit any room.
